They arrive a day earlier, while bulma and roshi are summoning shenron to revive goku on king kai's planet. Vegeta steals the wish, restoring planet vegeta to its former glory. King kai sees this all go down and offers up his life to revive goku. Meanwhile, roughly 12 hours before the saiyans arrive, kami reminds piccolo of the hyperbolic time chamber at the lookout. piccolo takes gohan there and they squeeze in as much training as they can preparing for the saiyans.
