Just a simple story about all of the interesting and difficult things that happened during my life. It has to do with me and my whole family. I will be changing my name and everyone else's to protect our identities.

There was a girl.. Elexis was her name. She had many dreams and goals that she wanted to be accomplished. Middle schooler with lots of friends. She had big dreams and goals. And the number 1 dream is Duke Ellington Academy for the Arts, her dream high school. She met a friend Kacey who was amazing at dancing and gymnastics. Found out Kacey wants to go to Ellington. Of course she was a year older than Elexis but that doesn't matter. The day came Kacey went for the auditions for Ellington, the auditions went well . But Elexis started to feel down, her grades weren't the best (being and average 7th grader and all) but she still had hope. After months and months of negative thoughts throughly her head she felt like such a.. FAILURE! She would love to get into Ellington for the same reason why Kacey wants to go.. Dancing. Months later Kacey got some exciting news! She got into Ellington oh how happy she was.. With Elexis having nothing but a couple of months.. She felt like FAILURE!
