On a Saturday morning, a fourteen year old boy named Lucas was reading a book in the library. While he was reading, he heard a loud noise coming outside the window, he knew that they are his schoolmates who were playing in the field. "Fools" he said. Lucas wanted to see how they play but he did not want to because it might distract him from his studies.
A couple minutes passed, the bell rang and everyone ran to go inside their classrooms, except for Lucas. He didn't want to go to his class, he knew that he might get in trouble but he didn't mind it. He had never skipped class in his life until now. He didn't leave his chair and kept on reading his book in the library. As he continues to read the book, his face was full of shock and disbelief.
He was reading a novel called "Lolita", Lolita is a 1955 novel written by Russian-American novelist Vladimir Nabokov. The novel is notable for its controversial subject: the protagonist and unreliable narrator and a middle-aged literature.
Sighed, "This story is amazing but I don't think it's suited for my age". Too bad, I was really looking forward to finishing this book.
