At night, A deserted road with street lights on. Pin-drop silence. From nowhere, an empty McDowell's whiskey bottle falls onto the road, breaks, and shatters into pieces. A guy wearing toned jeans, a T-shirt, and an overcoat walks unsteadily as the effect of alcohol kicks in, and blabbers loudly. "Riya! Poitila... Enna vittu poitila... Unna nan evlo love panaen theriyuma d" A few fearful voices erupt in the air. "Paathu da" "Akash, careful" "Anna paathu ungaluku engayachu adi patra pogudhu" Those voices go unheard by the person who threw the bottle. "Ini enoda life la love ngara pechukey ila. That is nowhere in my life" "Iyo Appa ku therinja enna aaga pogudho." As if by telepathy, the phone rings with the caller ID 'Raghav Appa'. "Pochchu seththom. Appa da" "Ennadhu mama va? Neenga epdiyachu pesi samalinga nan Akash ah poi pakaraen." "Hey Meera, nillu. Una thavara vera yar sonalum un mama kekamataru." "Mama ta neenga pesunga. Nan Akash ah poi pakarae" The phone is attended and put on speaker. Over call: "Enga avan!" "Mama inga dha mama irukan" Over call: "Enga irundhu vandhuchu indha pudhu palakam? Unga vayasula nan paakadha heartbreak ah da?" "Iyo Appa adhellam onu ila nanga paathu avana kootitu varom" A voice is heard from the mobile, a little away: "Raghav, Akash ku onu ilaila?" Over call: "Onu ila, Bulbul. Avanunga paathupanga. Olunga avana seekaram kootitu veetuku vandhu serunga." The call disconnects. They hear a lorry horn from where Akash is standing. "Hey lorry da" "Meera!"

This is the third in a series of interactive journals designed to help people grow personally, spiritually, and possibly even professionally. There is a daily message that contains a motivational quote, a Bible verse, a vocabulary word, and a message I write personally. Hopefully they're written and compiled in a way you find inspiring or motivational. But the key to what makes it work are the daily journaling questions. There are six questions at the end of every message. They stay the same, but you might find your answers to them change over time. They're simple questions, but living in a way that helps you improve your answers to them will change your life. I hope you decide to try it out, and if you do decide to try it out, I pray you won't be disappointed. Thanks, Jake.
