Historias de Twenty-four

"The Runt of the Litter" is a historical fiction novel about the mentally retarded in 1800s England. The large manor owned by controlling Sir Douglas Michaels is at breaking point, and all due to the shaming secret their attic holds. The one no one can speak of. While being historically accurate it looks into the lives of the head of the household, his wife, the eldest son, a man who could shape the future and of course... The eyes through the runt of the litter.

Nella Remworth has given up on life. With her latest suicide attempt, her parents decide to send her off to explore the world with her willing cousin, Harry Styles. But what happens when the rest of the boys aren't so willing, and Harry has to keep an eye on her 24/7? Will the boys be able to deal with a suicidal teen? Or will they give up and make Harry send her home?

Garrett Lukas is seventeen, at least that's what They told him. He has twenty-four hours to live, at least that's what They said. He doesn't know anything about the outside world, or the room he's been in for the past hour. His memories started at 12 am. He has until midnight. Or so They say. He has twenty-four hours to prove his worth, that someone like him can make a contribution, or he'll be terminated. That's Their order. So what's he going to do? As They say of course.
