this is my first book so it may be a bit cringy but it took off and here we are - If you've read the selection series this is basically a spin off of the AMAZING book series by Kierra Cass :-) p.s. this is my first story, writing isn't the best but I guess it's a good read??

Set in 2007, in the neighborhood of Clancy Way, the story explores the rivalry between the Downbeats and the Clique, two teenage street gangs of different family backgrounds. Both gangs vie for dominance of the neighborhood, and the police try to keep order. Joshua Dun, a former Downbeat and older brother of the gang's leader, Jordan Dun, falls in love with Tyler Joseph, the brother of Zack Joseph, the leader of the Clique. It's hard to love someone who doesn't love themselves. Josh and Tyler aren't exactly indifferent to each other. They run in different circles. Josh thinks Tyler is a basketball player who's only concern is being on and off with Jenna. Tyler thinks Josh is a weird punk rock kid who's friends with Jenna's best friend Debby. So when they start hanging out because of mutuals, is there a chance that maybe there's more to both of them than meets the eye? Will Tyler's troubles outside of school affect their friendship? Could they be more than just acquaintances?
