The faces of the world in 2196 have changed to absolute physical perfection, so much so that some argue the name Homo sapiens sapiens no longer applies. It's been over 120 years since Nu products were first introduced by Swiss-based PAX Pharma and the fallout has touched every life. The global changes have fueled protests, begun wars and toppled economies. Kang Daesung is a young man from South Korea with the dream to sing hope and joy into people's lives. But he is a throwback, a Nuject, someone for whom the drugs, the treatments and even the genetic modifications simply didn't work. Now Daesung is in the hospital again and it's his last chance to claim the life of his dreams. The Inspiration: Kang Daesung, singer for the K-Pop group BigBang, is often teased for his looks, called the 'ugly one' and too-often the subject of backhanded compliments on Korean TV. I find this preposterous because seeing him just walk down the street would make me look twice. The Twilight Zone episode Eye of the Beholder originally aired in November 1960. It tells a tale of physical imperfection that has an unexpected twist (duh! It's TZ). This tragic tale is what happens when the absurdity of the former meets the latter in this writer's mind. Rose Avenue is a little heaven in the summer. The children play, the mothers rest, and Carlota watches it all from her chair on the porch. Everything runs like clockwork--that is, until Carlota's radio stops working. Next door, Mr. Martirez's car dies. Across the street, Mrs. Velez's power has gone out. And up in the sky, something is falling. Fast.

Seychelle: She's not the most positive girl on Earth. And according to her, why should she be? Friendless, 16-year old 'Sey' lost her father and no one -not even her remarried mother and older brother- understands Seychelle in her Twilight Zone-watching, Dr. Seuss-reading, corn nut-eating entirety. Finally, Seychelle decides to escape from her suburb to Chicago, using the Old Plank Trail as her route and Ruby the Bike as her means of transportation. Then, on her way to the train station, she meets Sunny. They don't have much in common nor is Sunny's past clear. However, he may just be the one Sey wants; and she may just be the one he needs. Together, they embark on a journey that just may get Seychelle to wish on eyelashes again.

We live in a world where reliability constitutes the groundwork for reality. What happens when the rules start to bend and the line distinguishing real from surreal becomes fluid? Here follows a series of occurrences documenting mysterious encounters with the unexplainable, the paranormal. Bordering disturbing, yet just short of awakening. These are glimpses of the truth under the curtains of the unknown.

After a rough turn in her life, Ava learns how to become a lucid dreamer but soon becomes addicted to it, resulting in an inability to differentiate between the real world and the dream world.

Ariende and Vrybrih attend a Big Four security meeting, where numerous nations call for missions, goals, and action steps to further the motto: Live and Let Live, Protect and Preserve Lives and Cultures. Then, Ariende and Vrybrih embark on a journey that will take them to a place that will eventually influence many for decades.

Originally conceived as a Twilight Zone episode. The man tasked with exploiting Nazi scientists' secrets after WWII stumbles upon a man who claims to know about a secret German UFO programme!

[Heathrow to Honolulu- the black box files. December 15 2008. Moments before we lost contact and it had the unplanned crash. Written commented from Heathrow's head captain. Delivery to Scotland Yard] An announcement sound is made and you can hear the rattling and heavy breathing coming from the cabin. "We regret to inform our passengers that uh- a decision has been made. Our flight crew have suggested we make a fast emergency landing at Miami airport. This aircraft will be experiencing some turbulences- please do not ah-" There is a pause in the tape as it is suspected the pilot sees what is up ahead and cannot form words. The copilot takes control "Our 105 departure on this LHR-HNL flight" The copilot seems to jump and his voice breaks, his words became shaken "- ah - pardon the inconvenience. Ok so ah- we will hopefully land in Miami safety. At 8 6 1 we hope to land. Ok? So 861... We advise listen and follow the staff so we can have a orderly exit of this aircraft. Once again we apologise." We suspect the lights went out and the plane made its descent. The storm was rough that night. At least we believe it was a storm, however from autopsy reports of washed up parts of the aircraft- we cannot comforted say it went down by a natural disaster. • • • Welcome to The Static Gentleman RP.
