Grace was always the quiet one. Through school, she kept to herself, navigating the challenges of adolescence in the background. She never quite fit in, but managed to stay under the radar, graduating with solid grades despite the awkwardness and uncertainty that marked her teenage years. After school, she found herself stuck in a part-time job at McDonald's, her dreams of joining the Army faded as quickly as they'd formed. In search of something more, she joined the Police as a Community Support Officer, hoping to step into a role that felt more purposeful. As she immerses herself in her new life, Grace encounters a mix of people-some old faces, some new, and others who are connected through the stories of family members already in the force. But the biggest surprise comes when she crosses paths with a boy from her past, someone she'd never really known but who now seems to be a part of this new chapter of her life. Their meeting is unexpected, and though he doesn't know the shy, uncertain girl she once was, Grace is determined to keep it that way. She's ready to embrace her new role, to leave the past behind, and to prove to herself that she can be more than what she once was.
