Due to his recent heartbreak or probably not thinking straight for too long now, Drake didn't have objections when his father made him marry a total stranger. There was nothing to lose. He already lost it all. He could share his last name with anyone. At this point, he just simply didn't give a flying fuck. Imogen was the daughter of a father who wanted her murdered. For the second time that she was trapped under his roof, she was manipulated to be sold to the highest bidder in an auction in an organization where gang lords were involved. At this point, all she wanted was to simply be out of his father's dark intentions. She needed saving. He needed healing. They were first introduced on the day of their marriage. He didn't know that all he should have was her. She was clueless. She didn't know that he was all that she should have. It wasn't rocket science when Imogen saw the signs that she was already falling so hard for her husband. It was not so hard, all he did was smile and touch her, and her virgin heart went somersaulting. But then, she knew that once she entered her husband's heart, she'd find out that the walls surrounding it still had Psyche Saavedra's memories and pictures. That woman was irreplaceable. She could give him the thing he desperately needed, but does he has something in return? What could've happen when two polar opposite worlds collide? A cliche, slow-burn action-romance drama is about to unfold. And by cliche, I meant real cliche.
