Presley's just a basic white girl--cargoes, coffee, converse, and a handful of close friends. She's not hella happy but she's not hella sad either, so why change anything? But when high school rolls in with all her friends in a different class, she just knows this year's gonna be ASS--especially when her assigned desk mates are two random ass boys, one of whom seems hellbent on giving her rage-induced migraines.

Marcello's stuck in a flimsy, one-sided relationship, thanks to his idiotic, easily influenced past self. Even his hopes of building distance over time is shattered when his girlfriend announces that she'll be transferring to the same high school as him and his friends. Luckily, he's put in a different class. And maybe this year will actually be fun with two subdued desk mates to aggravate.

Faith is living the dream. Friends who adore her, boyfriend who pampers her, parents that let her do whatever the hell she wants, all of whom are the most popular people in town. Faith was(AND ALWAYS WILL BE) their queen and now she's ready to rule the high school too, so excited that she doesn't even mind that her on-and-off boyfriend, Marcello, got assigned to a different class--he's obsessed with her, so she shouldn't have to worry.
