Everybody knew it. So I was foolish to beg for his presence in mine, when he must've had his reasons for everything. And I was foolish to beg for him because I always got the sense that he became torn between being a good person and missing out on all opportunities that life could offer a man as magnificent as him. And I let him go. I let him go, because this was what he wanted. He left with someone I thought I knew, yet I'll never stop loving him."
