Above an endless sea of clouds, humanity has built a world that was never meant to touch the ground. Altair Academy stands at the heart of this civilization-a place where students learn to preserve the fragile world their ancestors built through biotechnology, sustainable systems, and one guiding principle: there is no waste to waste. For Zoe, the clouds have always been home. The world below them is spoken of only in fragments, buried beneath old records and warnings no one questions anymore. Then there is the Vortex. A vast spiral in the cloud sea, surrounded by strange electromagnetic disturbances and powerful enough to disrupt the technology around it. Most people see it as a natural phenomenon. Zoe isn't so sure. When she and Caiden are given the opportunity to descend through it, curiosity becomes something far more dangerous. Because beneath the clouds is not empty space. There is another world. An abandoned one. Because beneath the clouds is something no one at Altair Academy was prepared to find. And the deeper they go, the more they discover that the history they were taught may have been carefully preserved-and carefully altered. "What if we're not supposed to go down there?" Zoe asked. Caiden looked toward the dark center of the Vortex. "Then why build a world that makes us curious enough to try?" She glanced at him. "That's not an answer." "No," he said. "But it's the reason I'm going." Some truths lie beyond the clouds. And sometimes, discovering the truth means deciding what deserves to survive.

They were ready to leave. The van was ready, the bags were packed. They had stopped at the lake one last time before finally going, but something was missing. Noll decided to disappear in the endless forest, completely alone, with no phone or any way of contact. The first one finding him, sees something she never wanted to see. She wanted to see him smile -and she did, one time- but she couldn't ask for it that moment. She didn't smile... why would he? They talked and she could understand. Truth to be said: she never had a clue. It was cruel to ask him to smile, when she herself was crying. "You must never forget your past, not even try, no matter how painful it is. It was the pain you lived that made you the way you are now." Alright! I was dying from boredom so I decided to write this. Obviously Naru-centric, who else would it be. I don't own Ghost Hunt or any of its characters! Wish I did... Hope you enjoy!

You wake up. Everything feels normal,Until it isn't. The same words repeat. The same moments rewind. The same day...starts again. Enzo knew something was wrong the moment it happened again. Same classroom. Same sunlight cutting across the desks. Same question from the same girl-word for word. At first, he thought it was déjà vu. Then it kept happening. Every time he steps into that room, the world resets. The same people repeat the same lines like they're trapped in a script. No one remembers. Except him. But the loop isn't perfect anymore. Small things are changing. A window that was never open. A sound that shouldn't exist. A presence that wasn't there before. And worst of all- Something is starting to notice that Enzo remembers. Is he stuck in a glitch... or is this planned? Why is he the only one who remembers? What is watching him from outside the loop? And what happens if the loop finally breaks? Now, escaping isn't enough. Because whatever is inside the loop... doesn't want him to leave. And this time... Enzo is starting to notice This isn't a second chance. It's a loop.

What if the person you thought you had forgotten was the one your heart never truly let go of? A decade passed. Life moved on. We found other people. We built lives that no longer had anything to do with each other. Or so I thought. Because some memories don't disappear just because you stop talking about them. Some feelings don't die. They simply learn how to hide. And sometimes, the hardest thing isn't losing someone- it's never knowing why they left. What could have been? Maybe we'll never know. Because we were too afraid to ask, too afraid to reach out, and too afraid to find out that the answer might hurt more than the silence. This is the story of an unfinished chapter, a question that survived a decade, and a heart that still doesn't know whether it is remembering... or hoping.

--- Story Description - The Things We Never Confess Some families don't fight. They don't scream. They don't break things. They just... hide everything inside silence. Ishaan Verma was only seventeen when his father died suddenly-leaving behind a house full of rituals, condolences, and fake sympathy. Everyone expected Ishaan to cry. Everyone expected him to be weak. But Ishaan didn't cry. He became quiet. Not because he was strong... but because something inside him stopped feeling normal. Grief turned into anger. Anger turned into emptiness. And emptiness turned into a dangerous question: "What if my father didn't die the way everyone says he did?" One night, Ishaan receives an anonymous message that shatters his world: "Your father didn't die the way you think." That single line changes everything. Now Ishaan is trapped between two wars: one outside, where he searches for the truth and one inside, where he battles guilt, rage, and the fear of becoming someone he won't recognize As he gets closer to the truth, he meets Anaya-a girl who isn't soft, isn't sweet, and doesn't pretend life is fair. She doesn't comfort him. She doesn't lie to him. She sees the darkness in him... and doesn't look away. But the more Ishaan digs, the more he realizes: his father's death is connected to secrets buried deep inside his family-secrets that were never meant to surface. And soon, Ishaan learns the scariest truth of all: > Sometimes the truth doesn't save you. Sometimes it changes you. Because in some stories... the villain isn't a stranger. It's the version of you that is born when the truth finally comes out. ---
