Imogen Rute is a city girl looking to move away for college from a terrible home life and the death of her mother. College life is going great until Imogen finds out about a girl who went missing and her steps down a similar path. Meeting new friends who have her back may be the only thing keeping her safe. Imogen finds herself falling in love, but who's lurking, watching and waiting for the opportunity to snatch her? Falling in love is hard, what's harder is having everything she once thought she knew challenged, and some new friends may not be as friendly as they seem. Imogen finds the transition to college may be more difficult than anticipated. Teaser: "Come here doll." I'm pulled by my wrist into his warm, strong arms. Safe arms. Even after all this time, every time we touch I feel the tingling. That happy feeling where your heart soars, as if there's no better place in the world you could be. That's what Levi's arms feel like to me. "It's OK Immy, they arn't coming back, and if they do, they'll have hell to pay." I allow his stroking my soft dirty blonde soothe me, for now. I just wish I could believe him...

Every morning at 9 AM, Marlon unlocks the door to his bookstore. Only one person ever comes in. He's grown to care for the kid, even if all he ever does is leave a mess and treat the place like his own personal library. He'd be fine if everything stays just as it does now. But of course, nothing ever goes his way.

Being a teenager is tough, and that's before you factor in the boys, jealous exes and developmental issues. -------------------------------------- "Hello? Who is this?" I asked. Silence replied my question. "Hello? Is anyone there?" I was about to hang up but then a quiet whisper came through the other end of the line. "Stay away from him." "What? who? Who is this?" Fear started to creep into my voice. "Just stay away, I don't want to have to do something drastic." Their voice was cold, sending shivers down my spine. "Who is this? Who do you want me to stay away from?" The other end was silent. "Hello?" I heard two consecutive beeps then looked at my phone; the call had disappeared, almost as if it had never happened. -------------------------------------- Mei has wished she was normal all her life. Getting bullied as a kid, mocked for falling over all the time, has left her trying to avoid as much sport as possible. Although, despite being dyspraxic, she still couldn't escape PE lessons, even when she got to Sixth Form. One PE lesson, she falls over in front of her crush and he offers to teach her to kayak. She has mixed feelings about participating in a sport after loathing them so much. Mei soon realises there's more to worry about than being clumsy, though, when her crush's ex brings herself into the scene.

Rashida decides to start writing her fanfiction after getting negative messages about her oc online. But when she wakes up to find herself in the world she loves, she wonders why the man who harassed her was transported here too. I am not entering this into the 'give me a break!' contest, but I was inspired by the one of the prompts: whatever is written becomes true the next day. It is under 1,000 words.
