Unreachable Stories

Charity was unreachable by everyone except her sister. She shut the door on the people who cared about her, and built a wall that nobody could take down. Over and over she pushed people away, silent and alone, after an accident only four people know about. Everyone knows Charity. The girl who's mother died out of the blue. She's weird, depressed, and unusually quiet. I mean, her mom is dead, but how long can you just wait in silence? Michael has kept his whole past away from the rest of the world. Transferring from school to school, he makes sure that nobody ever knows the real him. Until he meets Charity.

This isn't a bitter sweet love story. I'm not even sure you can call it that. Unrequited. That would be the word I would use to describe my first love. No, this isn't your typical love story where he would realize I was the one for him. No, I was a coward. I was afraid and I let it get to me. This is my first love. Bitter and full of regrets. But I will never regret loving him because despite everything, some masochistic part of me enjoyed the bitterness like my daily fix of black coffee in the morning.

Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals!! This story was inspired by a prompt I had read a long time ago, about the book or essentially the person in the book falling in love with the reader.
