But the town she moves to carries a silence of its own... and a name she has never heard before: 7th Street. A new school awaits. New faces. New friendships. And eventually... a boy whose past is locked behind unspoken truths. Maaya doesn't know it yet, but beneath the normal days and quiet evenings, the town hides something deeper. Meher has always felt ordinary-just another daughter in a noisy middle-class household, wrapped in chaos, chai, and sibling squabbles. Until one evening, in black silk and golden heels, she locks eyes with a stranger at a wedding... and her world tilts. The woman is radiant. Warm. Familiar in a way Meher can't explain. She brushes it off-until fate strikes again. A second wedding. A second encounter. And this time, the woman isn't just smiling-she's shaking. Unbeknownst to Meher, the truth has waited in silence for eighteen years. Her real mother, once lost in a coma, is awake. Her father, presumed absent, never stopped loving her. And the life she thought was hers... may have been borrowed from heartbreak. Told through journals, unsent letters, faded lullabies and unraveling secrets, Eighteen Years of Unsaid is a story of forgotten names, remembered love, and the long, fragile journey back to truth.

A quiet kind of love, the kind that lived in glances, silences, and the fragile space between right and wrong. He was never mine, but he gave me something I still carry: a place that felt like home. These are the letters I never sent. To the man who changed everything, without ever staying long enough to catch me when I fell.

Isn't it a paradox? How we sing praises of the moon's serene beauty but seldom honor the Sun, whose relentless fire keeps the moon alight. The Sun, selfless and untiring, burns in silence, giving without expectation, its brilliance too overwhelming for us to gaze at directly. We immortalize the moon in poetry and art, charmed by its cool glow, yet the Sun-steady, fierce, and unyielding-is taken for granted, its constancy mistaken for indifference. Perhaps it's easier to love what doesn't overwhelm us, what feels unattainable and distant. The moon invites us with mystery, while the Sun stands too close, too present, its warmth too familiar to cherish. Yet isn't that the ultimate sacrifice? To be so steadfast, so vital, that you become invisible in your giving. It's a quiet reminder: sometimes, the greatest acts of love are the ones we forget to see.

A Pain Within is a heart-wrenching letter from a wounded son to the mother who never saw him. Through unflinching truths and aching vulnerability, he questions the meaning of forgiveness in the absence of apology, of love unreturned, and of survival forged in betrayal. This is not just a tale of abandonment-it's a testimony to resilience. The boy who was discarded becomes a man determined to break the cycle. Through raw reflection and painful clarity, he lets go of a mother's silence and finds his voice, vowing to become the parent he never had. It's a journey of pain, release, and healing-where goodbye becomes the first step toward peace.

Recent events have been strange, to say the least. Chaos is wrecking the lands - not loudly, not with fire and armies, but like a quiet sickness crawling through everything we know. I've started writing again. Not because I have something to say - I rarely do. Rather, because everything has blurred into something haunted yet so familiar. Despite the storm that is slowly brewing, there is also beauty. A shape...always near. So charming with her brown eyes - like a sail in the wind. I should go to sleep. (It's my first story, and because my native language is not English, I had to stumble around and research a lot of words and ways to describe something. That is why some places might be strange. It is mainly for me to explore writing and just fulfill some ideas, so I have no certain plans about this. Romance is not the main thing here and it might go in a different direction than planned. Criticism and reviews, or comments are totally welcome, unless it's something that is meant to be harmful rather than constructive. Lastly, thanks for reading and have fun I guess, I don't guarantee anything. :)))

This is not a love story. It's a story about love. It's a story of how loving someone can hurt, and that love can seem like another sugarcoated word for pain. It's a story about addiction. Of a girl who slowly watched as her brother lost himself and she didn't know what to do. She watched as he kept drowning into himself, drowning into the darkness that he had becom. Slowly, but all at once she watched him. While all she wanted to do was close her eyes. This is a story about love. Addiction. Loss. And hope.
