He wrote The Annihilation of Caste for the 1936 meeting of a group of liberal Hindu caste-reformers; after seeing a draft of the speech, however, the group revoked their invitation. I created ''A Dream'' during one of those nights that your imagination prevents you from sleeping. It establishes a co-relation between American slavery and the Indian Caste System, featuring several symbols that can invite you to further reading.

I wrote this poem for a former highschool crush, who didn't reciprocate my feelings. I'm over him now, but I thought it would be a nice poem to add to the collection. I mostly write poems in dutch. I hope you enjoy!
