Emerson Paisley has been an orphan ever since she could remember. She has lived on the streets for most of her life, feeding off of scraps from dumpsters as she is to afraid to beg for food. One day a young adventurer, Desmond Fergs, catches her eating from the dumpster and takes her to his home, soon introducing her to a new and dangerous world full of dragons and fairies.
