The dragon hunters think they've captured their greatest weapon - a winged girl with Chimera scales, a triple‑ended tail, and storm‑dark wings. She remembers nothing of her past. Only how to fight. Only how to survive.
During a foggy patrol, a young Berk rider hears a faint breath from below deck and discovers her chained, wounded, and barely alive. He frees her without hesitation... and instantly becomes the only person standing between her and the life she was forced to live.
But bringing her to Berk doesn't save her - it throws the village into chaos. She can't speak their language. She can't understand their intentions. Every sound, scent, and movement triggers the instincts the hunters carved into her. To her, Berk isn't a home. It's a battlefield she doesn't recognize.
The Thornlash Chimera - the dragon species she's half of - is unknown to them. And so is she.
As she struggles to control her instincts, the rider who saved her refuses to give up. He sees the fear behind her fury, the humanity buried beneath her Chimera side. As he teaches her safety, language, and trust, she begins to question everything she thought she was.
But the hunters want their weapon back.
Now she must choose:
Stay the monster they made...
or fight for the person she wants to become.
(NOTE: The cover of this story, which is my OC Hybrid, as well as what dragon she is supposed to be a hybrid of, also originally mine, the rider, and his dragon are ALL created with AI as I am not talented enough to draw them myslef nor can I afford to pay for commissions, I am not able to trademak or copyright them but I am only intending for them to be used in this story for the purpose of letting my readerss see what they all look like.)
