An Old man travels alone through the mountains, his only companion being his beloved stallion. On a search for a runaway boy, the old hunter tracks his prey through the wilds. His trade is grim, and some even say dishonorable, but it's what he knows, and honor can't put bread in your mouth, or ale in your belly. Oh his journey Verick the Hunter will remember more about himself that he would sooner have forgotten, and find much that would he rather have stayed lost.
