Valiant Stories

I'm going to try and use characters from my Valiant series for as much of the contest entries as a I can, so if you enjoy Hunter and Samurai, you can check this out too :) Each chapter will be a different contest entry for a different week. So basically this is a collection of short stories. Enjoy :)

A little thing I started for English...it's kinda dark to begin with....sorry....but i promise it'll lighten up as you get further into the story.

Isabel Pevensie, as the eldest of her siblings, has a responsibility to care for her brothers and sisters; especially the younger two. The five are sent from their home to the countryside to protect them from the bombings. One game of fun brings about a world neither sibling had ever dreamed of, but a land they were made for. Three are called, though not one knows why. But it's only a matter of time until they find out the reasons behind their return. Caspian and Isabel are enjoying their new union and ruling the land they both so dearly love. Threats loom in the dark and all must defend their home or their home away from home. Can they defeat the darkness or will it prove to be a force too powerful to vanquish? (Book three in The Heart series) *I don't own Narnia. I only own Isabel.*

In 1957 Detroit, visionary engineer Tom Valiant builds a counter-revolutionary machine in a rain-soaked carriage house. Facing a ruthless supply chain embargo orchestrated by GM executive Richard Sterling, Valiant and investor Marcus Stone must pivot. They engineer a high-speed tracking vehicle for a Hollywood studio, mounting a camera operator to their interceptor prototype's trunk. The studio payout funds a hostile buyout of Delco, breaking the Big Three's embargo and allowing Valiant to absorb Pontiac. Years later, this camera rig evolves into an adrenaline-fueled subculture. Thrill-seekers nationwide strap themselves to muscle car trunks using Valiant's "Rumble Harness" and "Series III Side-Saddle". At the center are Gloria, an architectural drafter running delivery routes, and her eighteen-year-old son, Sam. Sam rides as a "payload observer," strapped prone to the decklid of her Mayfair Maize 1968 Pontiac GTO. However, external transit physics are terrifying. Following a near-disaster in a freezing storm and a realization about kinetic shockwaves, Gloria must neutralize a fatal threat. She discovers the GTO's rigid racing shocks act as a deadly catapult against the harness, replacing them with soft touring shocks to force a safe "wallow". Interwoven with midnight drag races and Sam's journey driving a one-dollar 1955 VW Bus and a 1946 Buick Roadmaster, the story honors raw horsepower. Ultimately, it explores the unyielding bond between a mother, her son, and heavy Detroit steel.

Sir William Wallace, a hero of Scotland's history who was trying to conquer the king of England, Robert The First, "Longshanks" beginning a gorilla warfare , hidden in the hills of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, to invade England, after his wife and family are slaughtered by "Longshanks." He meets up with his fellow Scottish people and they follow him till he is captured, by the king. He then is hung, quartered, disimboweled and begeaded in the Tower Of London's square, where he sees his dead wife face in a misty fog, to know he has accepted his final fate. "ALL MEN ARE BORN, YET NOT ALL MEN LIVE" AND SIR WILLIAM WALLACE LIVES ON TODAY.! , "FREEDOM " Scotland was freed by Robert The Bruce in the 1400 hundreds. My husband family are the direct descendents from this line. Bruce's sister, is married to Alexander Campbell which is my husband's 12 great grandfather. She was Lady Mary Bruce Campbell.

Kiara, Aaron and the other teens have returned from their little island and are greeted with welcome, yet cautious, arms. They all move to Chicago, where their families live.
