There should be no homeless veterans in America. U.S. soldiers who have fought and continue to fight for America's freedom and security, but who like MIAs during the war, go unaccounted for or forgotten when returning home to everyday life.

Mirabela Mendoza envies her cousins and friends because their fathers are active in their lives while hers is in Colombia, serving in the army. The snotty Nancy Ambrose sees her father, who is a jewelry designer, as an American Idol. When Mirabela's father moves in permanently to be in her life, her bestie, Lily, isn't so keen on the change.

Elena Flores's Quinceanera is coming, but she's not looking forward to it because her military father might not be there. Or might he?

Sara Martinez is the daughter of Veteran Enrique, who's been serving the country in the military for as long as she can remember. But when Veteran's Day comes close, Enrique returns home to his family forever with a Purple Heart, to everyone's delight. Unfortunately, the attention Sara gets at school for this makes her the target of the jealous rich girl, who thinks her shoe designer father deserves more respect than Enrique.

This series will diverge into an everyday account of my life and how I'm praying it's received by y'all only for the Glory of Christ, only. I'm no one special, I'm guilty of many wrongs as well, that doesn't make em right but with knowing that I still want you to know the Strength, Love, Grace & Mercy God gives to us. He's giving me(now us) a chance of owning up to knowing we were wrong and changing that mindset. Remember, we're only but humans.

Happy late Veteran's day, in my class we were assigned a creative writing project based of off a picture call "Reflections"(the cover). I figured I'll post it here... enjoy :)

What must have been going on in Steven Hyde and Jackie Burkhart's minds during the episode "Jackie Bags Hyde" (3x08) of That 70's Show since there was a lot of subtext. This is one of my favorite episodes and I had to explore how they reacted to what happened that day! I actually wrote Hyde's part about two years ago long before I wrote any other JH stories, but I've cleaned it up a bit and added Jackie's chapter for this. A few small scenes added to Jackie's chapter to understand the day better.

Have you ever wondered what would happen to you? If you fought in the war and lost people you knew? This poem is dedicated to my grandma and grandpa who helped me become more involved with my family history. It has been incredible to learn about my ancestors. - Hey, guys so I know that this isn't a story and has nothing to do with Teen Wolf. But I wrote it at school for a competition for veterens day. I got second place! I thought that it was pretty cool. Let me know what you guys think! A lot of people competed and I really am shocked that I won at all. Family history is a huge part of my life and I love learning about it! Recently I got to do some family history work on some veterans from my family and it was awesome learning about them.
