Slate frantically ran up the stairs towards the observatory, looking around. "Mica?" Mica was also just as shaken. "Slate? What was that?" They asked. But it was getting louder, and Slate realized it was the sound of whooshing air. But what was that bright, blue light in the sky? And why was it getting hotter all of a sudden? Slate suddenly gasped as a roar washed over them. They frantically looked up, seeing that the sky was too bright. Impossibly so. It lit up the entire night sky so much that they couldn't see the stars anymore. But then, it was gone. Slate stared in confusion and terror at the sky for a few seconds, as if they were waiting for the strange light to return, before they tilted their head back down and looked around frantically.
