Part one of YOI: Kingdom AU series A kind and shy prince had stolen Viktor's heart. A jealous and obsessive witch curses him, turning the prince into one of the most feared mythical creatures in the kingdoms. A dragon The dragon; kind and depressed with sudden changes into an animalistic and destructive force. In order to save the castle of Hasetsu, Viktor must do one thing. Viktor Nikiforov was a lonely prince. He felt empty. He had lived his life deprived of love for 24 years, and now with his twenty fifth birthday around the corner as well as his coronation, he had a duty to choose an eligible partner to rule the kingdom with him. With Yakov constantly pestering him, and with the enormous pressure building on him, he throws a ball where he is forced to choose a suitable partner to marry. Or at least that was the plan. The young price certainly doesn't expect to be swept off his feet by the kingdom's florist, and things get more complicated than necessary. •••• Forget-Me-Not plants symbolize true love. The forget-me-not flowers are a medium, "true blue". And as the name suggests, they are given or used to decorate gifts with the hope the recipient will not forget the giver. It also symbolizes faithful love and memories.

This is officially the sequel to Yuri!!! On Ice Book 1, but you don't have to had read that one to understand this one. This book carries an Otayuri-based plot and holds no carry-over from the first-- at least, nothing a reader wouldn't be able to understand. Taking place in 2017, this book follows the pair through several years of their lives, encountering obstacles and growing closer all the while. This summary sucks, I'm aware of that and I'll fix it sometime soon. But, for now, enjoy! EDIT (06/04/21): This story is a relic. Depression within the Katsudon. Yuri should have been glad, honored even, to have the living Ice Skating legend, his idol, coach him.
