Viktor Nikiforov is a Russian World Champion figure skater. Katsuki Yuuri is the owner of an ice rink in a small town in Japan. Viktor went to this small town to practice where he wouldn't be known. Katsuki offers skating lessons every friday morning. Viktor saw that this very attractive man was offering lessons and decided to get to know Yuuri.

After a few more seasons both Yuuri and Viktor retired, taking up the mantle of the coaches in St. Petersburg over from Yakov Feltsman. Yuri Katsuki, a 24 year old man, lived on his own after his parents died. He used to ice skate, but then stopped doing it, as it didn't entertain him. After his parents died, he was broken. The only reason he kept smiling was his best friend, Phichit Chulalont. When Yuri used to figure skate, he had a rink mate at age 10. His name was Viktor Nikiforov. But due to family problems, Viktor had to move back to Russia. Yuri was very lonely after that, but then he met Phichit and immediately became best friends. At age 15, a major event happened, which ruined his life and took his whole family. He had to live with his friend Minako, but as soon as he turned 18, he went to live on his own. He felt like he was a burden on her. So now here is Yuri Katsuki, now 24, single, living alone. He thought it would stay that way, until he saw him.

Life is pretty average for Yuri, but he still wants something more. He feels a puzzle piece is missing from his life. He might just get that when he sends the wrong message to the wrong person.

Sometimes, Yuuri's anxiety gets the best of him. It can get to a point where not even his best friend Phichit can help. But Yuuri usually forgets that he can always count on Viktor's love.

Zombie Yuri on ice AU. It's been three years since the apocalypse started. A mysterious virus that wiped out half the earth, turning them into monstrous, blood thirsty zombies . It's been three years since Viktor's life changed completely. In his colony, Viktor is known as the best of the best in zombie killing. He's protected the town from five separate attacks as well as secured more than one mile in land for the humans. He's top of the top, trains all the incoming zombie killers, and constantly goes on ventures outside the stronghold to reclaim land and supplies. Until during one mission, Viktor and his team drastically fail, and he expects to perish, if it weren't for the unexpected help of Yuuri. Yuuri isn't sure if he's really dead or not. He's most definitely not human, the sagging green-grey skin on his face and his limp tells him otherwise. Yet he doesn't seem to be fully zombie either. He can think for his own, unlike the other zombies. He can talk, laugh, smile, hum, sing- pretty much everything all of the other zombies can't. Yet, he's one of them. He isn't constantly being controlled by the unquenchable desire for human flesh, in fact he'd rather eat human food than humans. But, what happens when one fateful day he meets Viktor, and through their meeting, finds out the truth about his death, his life, and all the mysteries he's been trying to solve. Can you hear my heart beat? ... WARNINGS: Descriptions of violence, Minor Character Death, Major Character Death. LOTS of blood/gore and death.
