An alternative Violet Evergarden storyline that picks up at the same time as the netflix show. Major Gilbert survived the war and picks up Violet instead of Claudia Hodgins. I'm not a writer nor do I aspire to become one, but these two just deserved more time together and after reading a translation of the novel, I just had to write this, as I couldn't find any English fanfiction.
