🌈Why I Created "The Amazing Inspiration about LGBTQ+ and Tanka" June is 🏳️‍🌈Pride Month. Around the world, I see growing resistance to diversity and inclusion. Though I may be powerless, I still want to speak out. I grew up in a small northern port town in Japan. As a child from a single-mother family, I faced bullying and prejudice. My mother, who always said "Don't give up," gave me the strength to stand up for justice. Later, I became a journalist and exposed a major archaeological scandal, winning Japan's top press award. But my mother passed away before she saw that. This project is my way of honoring her, and of supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Each of these nine crayon illustrations is paired with a traditional tanka poem. Together, they carry a message of hope and resilience: "We won't lose."🏳️‍🌈 -SamuraiSixCoin (Japan) P.S. Venomous Tongues is a satirical poem about the corrupt nature of political office holders in Nigeria. It presents the Nigerian situation in a dining table setting in which the participants dig into the morsel (crude oil) without fear or favour to anyone. The political leaders are metaphorically describes as wolves & predators of each other. The poem is a free-verse, run-on-line poem with no spaces for pauses used to convey the serious nature of the theme. The themes of the poem are: Corruption, War, Political Instability among others

I don't paint with precision. I paint with everything I feel. This is the story of what it means to love in color - wildly, sincerely, and without a guarantee of being understood. Lord, Kiss Me is a poem that leverages on the emotion of a fictional person desperate for the saviour's lord. His life hangs on a kiss, To the Chronicler, the "Kiss" is the highest expression of agape love. The poem is full of awe striking images such as cold weather, emotions of hazyness, guilt and leverages on the supranatural etc
