Every summer, I returned to the same place... and to the same people I once called home. The Sicilian summer house was supposed to be my escape - golden sunsets, endless sea breeze, and the family that once felt like one. But nothing feels the same anymore. Not since my mother died. After her death, I stopped being the girl I used to be. I stopped believing in love, in fate, in anything that promised forever. I learned that everything beautiful eventually disappears... and people always leave. So I stayed away. Until my father forced me to return. Now I'm going back to Sicily after one year of silence - back to Ethan's family, back to Steph, back to Ian... and back to a version of myself I buried long ago. But some things don't stay buried. Old friendships shift. Familiar faces feel unfamiliar. And the house that once felt like home now feels like a place full of ghosts - of memories, of laughter, of everything I lost. And then there's him. The summer I left behind is waiting for me... and so is everything I tried to forget. Because some summers don't heal you. They break you all over again.

Numerous short stories about death, life, and death after life. All characters, place, descriptions are all fictitious and were all placed in my imagination. This story is a general fiction but dictates true to life experiences and thoughts. I compile all my wondering, questions, what if's through this book.
