Things were going great for Addison. She was home alone for the first two days of summer vacation, and the first 24 hours were spent on nonstop fun. But on the second morning, a storm knocks the power, and her fun plans, out. With a dead Kindle, Addie is forced to grab a flashlight and get a book from the shelf of -shudder- classics. What she doesn't expect is that when she opens one of the books she gets sucked inside. And ends up onboard The Dawn Treader on its maiden voyage. Did she ask for this? No. Does she want to go home? During their adventure, Ethan and Liam become close friends and Liam discovers his real identity that was hidden all these years. Who exactly is Liam? Will the boys fulfil the prophecy together? And will the end be really as they expected?

This is a book that will be written for a future me for whom I can only wish for better days to come along her way. I sincerely wish her luck and happiness; hopefully she will find something to keep her going through this life. This is the first, although small, step I am taking to push me to pursue a happy ending and to remind me that I can indeed be happy one day if I do make efforts. As for the title, it means that this book is dedicated to a side of me that I know is hidden somewhere deep inside of my being who is not depressed and who still believes in light. Note: Some of the content may be really dark, contrasting the whole idea of the book, but I cannot help it and, in any ways, I am doing this book so that in the future I can look back at all of this and comprehend how lost I was and how hopeless I felt within myself.
