A former gymnast and cheerleader, she became an Executive Pastry chief in Atlanta before returning home to care for her grandparents just before the outbreak. When the apocalypse hit, Rhia used her culinary, medical, and survival skills to help fortify the Greene farm. She met Rick Grimes when he brought a wounded Carl, and her calm, resourceful presence quickly made her an essential ally and beautiful love interest to Rick.
