The Beginning. That's who started it. In the beginning, there was the Beginning. It created a land, but the land was at war with itself. The land was separated into three sections. The Forest, the Snow, and the Grey. The Beginning named this world Wheyek. The Beginning then created three types of beings. The Fires, Waters, and Energies. The Fires would destroy the Forest and would die in the Snow, so they were placed in the Grey. The Waters would thrive in the Snow, and were placed there. That left the Forest for the Energies, where they would live quite happily. The three races reproduced, but were afraid that if they mixed races, their genes would become confused and they would become one race. Their particular abilities, suited to various elements could be dulled by such combinations. Leaders of the three races went to the Beginning and asked It to create more races so as to multiply but not destroy powers. The Beginning agreed and then created the Blanks, the Kings, the Intellects, and the Producers. Each new race had their own ability to add to the world.
