The Clans always believed death was the end. The dead would go to StarClan. Until they watched a dead Clanmate open his eyes. The Revived have changed everything. The Clans can no longer bury their dead, trust their instincts, or believe that every cat who dies will find peace in StarClan. But as the Clans struggle to rebuild their lives, new mysteries begin to appear. Duskpaw sees a cat who looks exactly like him. Shadepaw receives a warning from StarClan that could decide the fate of every Clan. Hawkpaw discovers a secret about his forgotten sister that changes everything he thought he knew. The Clans thought the apocalypse was over. They were wrong. Now, as enemies rise, secrets are revealed, and shadows grow stronger, the young cats of the Clans must discover what StarClan meant before the prophecy becomes reality. Because sometimes the most dangerous monsters are not the ones who have already died.

The Clans are beginning to forget about the importance of tradition and start to abandon the Warrior Code, and each other. During the dry season of green-leaf, a fire erupts, starting in ShadowClan territory and this time, it spread through all the territories and the Clans, since there is no water separating the land like the island of old RiverClan. Everyone is forced into separation and only some will find refuge. *** Author's Note: The book is a little slow at first, but hopefully, it gets better as you go. The beginning of it is a bit hard.

Bramblepaw doesn't know what she wants to be. On one paw, Redpetal is a tolerable mentor and being a warrior was somewhat fun, but on the other, medicinal herbs, and the knowledge they hold, were much more interesting. But as the days go by, and Redpetal gets increasingly frustrated by Bramblepaw's dreaminess, trouble with focusing on things she finds uninteresting, and scatterbrained behavior, Bramblepaw comes to the conclusion that Leafwish, and the general role of being a medicine cat, would be far more understanding to her problems, and allow her nonchalance, if not outright apathy, to Clan boundaries to be seen as a different way of thinking instead of disloyalty or cowardice. Meanwhile, Brownfur reappears in a dream of Bramblepaw's, warning that the sickness was near to pouncing on ThunderClan. Bramblepaw must not deal with the weight of the prophetic warning, and mentally prepare herself for the blow, only hoping that she, or anyone she loved, won't catch the illness.

Metalclan, a group of cats who live on the mountains are suddenly banished from the mountains alongside Wishclan and Blossomclan, due to a prophecy from Sparrowcore, the medicine cat of Moonclan, that he believes symbolises that only Moonclan must remain. The leader of Moonclan, Crescentstar, seems almost definite that what she's doing is right, but after the moon is covered, she knows somethings wrong.

When a young loner named Fern looks over her cities fences and longs for the woods of the clans, she takes the risk to see if it's worth the reward... As Fern adapts to life of the clans she learns to grow as a fellow clanmate, until... A warrior begins to act strangely... A leader begins to go mad... And a clan begins to fall apart...
