"You can't change time." Those were the words that 14-year-old Kin Aruke believed in based on time travel. Sure, he wasn't all the special, living in Yukon, Canada despite being half-American, half-Japanese, but he had always been the kind to not listen to conspiracy theories. However, his discovery of an artefact that could alter time and space changed everything. Aruke must now combat people who want this artefact for bad purposes and save the world, all while learning of his true identity. "I never asked to find that artefact, but despite everything... I'm glad I found it." 3rd Book in the Fate Changer Series Cover by @kwhel22

"Just be happy." Sure. Tell a dead person to just be alive. They'll magically resurrect. Right? Of course. *** Rain splattered like paint on my shirt. Or perhaps they were tears. Or both. Either way, I didn't care. My glasses were foggy and droplets decorated the lenses as if trying to make this tragic scene look like a beautiful melancholy. I scoffed. There was nothing beautiful about standing on a ledge, head empty and eyes tired, ready to fall into an endless sleep. "Stop," a voice whispered, a whisper that somehow sounded louder than the sound of my pounding heart, louder than the sound of the thundering rain, yet was so vulnerable, as if their life depended on my decision. And I did. I don't know why, but I stopped. Something, in that voice, made me feel... home. I did not turn back and look at who it was, for I feared I might not feel the same after I did. Instead, I shut my eyes and ran. I ran. From the voice, from the past, from everything, I ran. And now I was here. With a new life. Where no one knew a thing about me, or my past. Or so I thought. *** WINNER of Watties Retry Awards in the category Undiscovered Emeralds. [04. 06. 2018.] RUNNER UP in the Blue Rose Awards May 2019 in Teen Fiction. Life of Susan Edwards took a sudden swerve from being ranked as 'Perfect' by her to being at rock-bottom. On her 16th Birthday, her mother made an announcement- an announcement that according to her would probably wreathe Susan's life with roses. Maybe she was unaware of the fact that roses have thorns, some of them concealed. Her life now swayed between being worse and worst. The announcement being the beginning of the worse for her perfect life. Delve into Susan's past to find what makes her shed salty tears in a futile attempt to burn the blazing fire of agony and anguish within her? Will this fire ever extinguish or will it continue to flare to burn Susan everyday?
