(Like in the original) Not wanting to let history repeat itself, he decided to cut ties with the cultivation world the moment he returned into his 15-year-old body again after dying at the end of the siege. When he was thrown into the burial mounds, he pretended to have died, leaving the cultivation world completely behind. In doing so, he hoped that none of his loved ones would die again, thinking he was responsible for their deaths. But boy, was he wrong. But what will happen now that Wèi WúXiàn gets a third chance? Will he still care about the sects who blamed him for everything in both lives? Would he protect them like he did before? Can he even protect his loved ones? Especially with all the pain, trauma, grievance, and guilt he carries with him. Will he be betrayed again in this life, or will he finally find his place?
