But then he met Meredith Tyler and her adoptive sister, Rose Tyler. Apparently, Meredith was taken in by an orphanage in China as a newborn, given the name Mei. She was eventually adopted at the age of eight months by Rose's parents, Pete and Jackie, before Jackie knew she was pregnant with Rose. All Meredith has of her birth family is a rose gold locket with mysterious circular engravings. And at night, it seems to call to her... At times, she swears she sees markings on her wrist that are similar to the ones on her locket... And she has these dreams, in which she seems to have a different face and voice... And she instantly recognizes the Doctor as her husband in her dreams... And that's where all the pieces fall into place for Meredith Tyler...
