1st Book of the Series. The time lord known as the Huntress leaves Gallifrey with no intention of going back. Whilst hovering above London on her first trip to earth, her TARDIS is shot out of the sky and the Huntress falls, plunging into the Thames. This sets her on a journey which leads her not only to her future companions, but towards the path of saving Earth from one of the Doctor's old foes and perhaps redemption for the terrible things done in her twisted past.

Maia is different. She cries when things happen. Even things she doesn't know about yet. Just, when they happen. And Maia had been crying a lot lately. Her life collapsed before her eyes. Her dad left her and her mom in the smack middle of London. Her mom then left to see Maia's grandmother in Scotland. But the plane crashes, and her mom dies. She just sits on her backyard, at the house she now hates, crying her eyes out. When a blue box happened to appear. The man inside figures out a strange, incredible secret about Maia, and accidentally takes her to a certain place with certain things, better known as Daleks. When Maia is trapped in a room without The Doctor, contaminated with insane Daleks, the Tardis guarded by Daleks 2.0, and an on-the-loose-Weeping Angel, Maia must find The Doctor, get back the Tardis, and team up with some just crazy enough Daleks to help her on the way.

My exchange year in London was supposed to be the best time of my life. Well and to be honest it was. I wasn't in London all the time and actually it wasn't a real year.
