Fundy is a 13 year old fox hybrid who is a closeted trans boy. After coming out his mother, Sally, abandoned their family and left Fundy's father, Wilbur, in a deep depression. Fundy must navigate through school and home life while trying to figure out how to live as trans. (There will be no projection in this for sure. A Sheriff in debt, an outlaw in love with his daughter. After Sheriff Scott's debts catch up with him and not being able to pay off loan sharks in time, Outlaws are out for their money. In doing so Cowboy Wilbur stumbles upon the Sheriff's daughter who is determined to clear her Father's name. Captured and taken from her home until the Sheriff can pay off his debts she learns the secrets of her family, how her mother really died and maybe that this outlaw wasn't bad by choice, but by contract. Wilbur didn't hesitate to take me in his arms as I poured out my emotions like breaking dam. "Shh darlin, I know" He voice carried words of comfort but I shoved him off me. "No! You knew! You always knew!" I yell through the tears. "You lied to me" I let out a choked sob and his heart ached when he saw me. "How can you not see it? I never lied to you, your father did." He says calmly, trying to get through my head that my Father wasn't the man I thought he was. "No! He's... He wouldn't- he... He loved her" I fall to my knees as it all comes crashing down, my mother, he couldn't have. It would explain why he went so far in to debt, why he got so desperate. "He... I-" Wilbur kneels down and places a hand on my shoulder. "It'll be okay darlin' I promise" he said as our eyes met, a dancing flame of warmth and comfort shown in his chocolate colored eyes. I fall into his arms, my reality was shattered, my dreams were never real.

How much longer can he go? How long can he keep living? does he even deserve to eat or sleep or... exist? That's all Wilbur could think of, but Y/N wouldn't let him do anything stupid... not again angst fanfiction! So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. Perhaps someone out there could make him feel himself again. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. After uploading all of this from my notebook, I now realize how short this story really was and that the chapters are below 1,000 words, which is different for me considering I'm a pretty detailed writer... regardless, this one is for all of the readers who like shorter stories with a smaller amount of parts!
