But the someone happens to be an orphaned 20 year old girl with special abilities and a past with the Winter Soldier. A lab accident leaves Valerie with nanobots crawling through her veins, individually insignificant, but together connect to create complex shapes that can connect to machinery, form structures and lift heavy objects. Her abilities draw the attention of Hydra, but not for the field-for what they can do for another asset.

Continuation of Valen After the events of the battle with Laufey (in book 1), Valen is presumed dead to her team. Only a couple know she has taken residence in Wakanda. With a promise she would return home, days had slip by turning into months making her wonder when the promise would be upheld. If only she knew what was hiding outside past Wakanda. !!!!!! Main character is based upon the ancient Goddess of the Night, Nyx. Super detailed, more focused on the characters rather than just being a fanfic. A very experimental soup, with a little bit of every fictional universe. Ongoing story, but she falls for the sarcastic guy with the vibranium arm.
