Getting placed in the male's lineup in every competition, being assigned the wrong uniform because of her name, etc etc. And now the most recent. Being assigned to a whole men's fraternity in a new close knit, weird as fuck town in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains of trees, and all because one administrator was too lazy to check a simple photo. No one said life would be easy and Chris guessed this much while living inside a house that was filled to the ceiling with testosterone. Finding and being chosen for this full expense paid scholarship had been the extent of her luck, now all Chris wanted was to get her degree, live quietly and leave. But...why on earth did this town seem so strange. Why did she hear the sounds of dogs in the middle of the night, why did the men in her frat seem hyper aware with reflexes that went beyond her scope of understanding. Why were the people so fucking weird and why the absolute fuck did she start having those...dreams every night. Dreams that made her wake up hot and sweaty, burning with a desire for something she hardly understood. The answers to these questions were nothing ordinary. Would Chris be prepared? "I don't give a fuck!--" The man named Mario stopped shouting after she escaped a loud fart around the cubicle. Their voices seeming to come to a halt from the horrendous distraction. Her beautifully scented fart rang across the room with different tones and decibels that embarrassed the dignity left in her. There was a cock of a gun with a British man's terrified voice pathetically begging for his mercy. "--About your reason! You--" Mario Kart continued. Fart, Came another one. She was sure she won't have the face nor the strength to come out of the cubicle after dumping her whole excreta inside an oddly small toilet. "Cazzo!" Mario Kart's best friend exasperated. "--Who even farts that loud? It smells horrible!" Luigi muttered out loud with a cough and the woman who made a dump could imagine that this person was pinching his nose in disgust. In her perspective, they sounded like they were both partners and brothers in crime. And she meant that in the literal way. ---- Tiffany Bay Garcia was just an innocent Janitress in a gas station, nature called and her rude stomach grumbled with the need to drop a stink pickle. She made a dump, little did she know that her life was about to take a dump too. The peaceful but difficult life that she once had will take a turn in the most mind-boggling way. Mario and Luigi? they weren't just brick wreckers and coin catchers, they were even death takers too. We didn't know that the smell of our own fart can serve as an invitation to hell, or rather an embarrassing invitation for two crazy bastards to enter your life.

I started this over three years ago. It was inspired by a guy I saw on America's Got Talent who had overcome drug addiction. He had previously had a rough relationship with his father, and music brought them back together. Music has played a huge role in my life, growing up in a family that had its own band (my grandfather played drums, my mom sang and played bass piano, and eventually I'd have the honor of singing and playing clarinet). But I also know a thing or two about dysfunctional relationships. As someone who has lost multiple family members to addiction, it's also something for which I'm all too familiar. So, this is going to eventually be a completed novel. I have no idea how long it will take to finish, but I'm going to try. And when I get a synopsis ready, I'll add it here. But for now, all you need to know is it's about wanting something, almost having it, but being just a halftone apart from getting it. This is the story of Wes and Kennedy.
