Mae has lived a completely normal life until her 16th birthday, yes, she is adopted, but she's never thought anything of it. That is, until her adoptive mother gives her a letter from her birth mom. Why the letter says is so outlandish and improbable that Mae just has to believe it... But if believing believing the letter means leaving her friends and family behind, will she turn her back on her adoptive family, or will she take a chance, and decide to trust her birth mother? ------------------------------------------------------ I will be editing this book once I'm finished writing it, but if you see any mistakes, please don't hesitate to point them out to me, and I'll fix them. PROLOGUE: Skyler did a bit of growing up in her last year of high school. She had to get use to her best friend not being there all the time as he had to leave to attend college. He was not just her best friend but also her body guard and shoulder to cry on when life got difficult. Dustin also had to learning and coping to do without his best friend. He thought that university would be the same as high school, besides from the fact that he would be living alone. Yet soon, he realized just how much Skyler was part of his everyday life.
