Marie is Tony's twin sister, when they were ten years old they got separated by their aunt Wendy who was convinced she could make "a proper lady" out of Marie, But Marie had other plans for her life, she had always been a troublemaker, always causing problems and making aunt Wendys life hell. When her strict aunt finally realized she would never be a "fancy little lady" she sends her to live with Tony, who had been released from prison a month before her arrival. If he had listened to Tony,none of this would've happened. If he had listened to Tony, the outcome wouldn't have been this. Things would have happened differently if the rumble never happened,it might have saved Tony the heartbreak of losing his best friend. It breaks his heart more when he realizes that if the Rumble was called off, it could have saved Riff's life. It might have saved Tony's best friend from that fate.

Riff knows Tony saved his life so why couldn't he save his? Why couldn't Riff save his best friend's life? He just wanted to save his best friend's life. He does not want to lose Tony,his one and only best friend. Tony survives and reassures him that he didn't lose him,that he was still alive and that he would be okay after he makes his recovery. Riff confided his feelings to Tony about the exact moment that he was certain he would lose him. He was definitely thinking about how close he came to losing his best friend in the whole world. Tony does his best to reassure Riff that even though it was a close call,that he didn't lose him.

He didn't even see the tragedy coming but yet he did see the tragedy coming and knew that one day Riff would die either by being killed by a member of a rival gang or police. But to Tony,Riff was more than a gang leader,he was his best friend,his brother from another mother. Tony believed it when Riff had told him that he was born to die young. Riff died at 18. Tony always thought that Riff would die first but he thought they'd pass away together. If Tony could speak to him one more time,he would say to Riff,"I'm sorry I couldn't save you."

Wilbur is a bit shorter and younger than Quackity in this one, just because I actually love shortbur, and I don't see enough stories like this, so... It's all fluff, there's not really any angst, Wilbur is just really desperate. It is a highschool AU, and I did edit and write it in one night and finished and posted it at about 2:00 AM, so...
