This is a huge undertaking of basically a Harry Potter fanfic set in America with like a hodgepodge of all my headcanons for the American wizarding world, particularly Ilvermorny. It will indeed be seven books and seven school years, and yes I will be really trying to emulate Philosopher's Stone with this first book. I've also done my best compile some of the best headcanons from other people around Tumblr and here/there so. This is also my first wattpad submission so it may take me some time to get used to submitting stuff onto here. Welcome to Ilvermorny, the North American school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The year is 2009 and it has been 11 years since the defeat of the Dark Lord. America had seemed untouched by the turmoil of the darkness hanging over the world of magic in the old world. The world had thought that all was safe again with the Dark Lord and Death Eaters defeated. But that is not the entire truth for Voldemort had a young apprentice, one who followed without hesitation. But the boy didn't follow blindly for he could see that Voldemort would fall and that he thought he could become so much more. So the boy left for America in 1998, just before the battle. He left to start the work that Voldemort hand not yet completed. This brings us to the story of a young child, a girl, unknown to the burden to rest on her shoulders.
