Rick earns her trust through steadiness and small kindnesses. Wanda earns his through honesty about the darkness she carries. It's a story about whether people who have caused harm and carried tremendous loss can still deserve softness - and the quiet, radical act of letting someone in when the world has given you every reason not to.

Before Thanos snapped his fingers Sacha Greer had graduated with a PhD in Biochemistry and an MD, her father had developed lung cancer so Sacha returned home, to Westview to take care of him. Then they both disappeared for five years. After they returned Sacha worked day and night for a week to try and use new scientific research to cure her fathers cancer.
