This story is about a tom who goes by the name of Rye'Whisker. His best friend Night'Leap (she-cat) had gone missing one night. Despite his Leader telling him to stay and go out with a patrol group in the morning, he escapes camp at night and runs far away. A while after that he comes across Thunderpath. He sees a farm down to his right so he runs there instead, only to realise he'd still have to cross the path.
