In October 1929 the stock market didn't crash. In September 1939 World War 2 did not begin. Instead an economic boom continued and increased in the ever rising United States. Instead of focusing on economic problems or beating the Axis the country focused on their main problem, at least to the eyes of the many rich politicians, the FBI and the business men they were all in cahoots with. Anti-American ideas, Anti-Capitalism and the rise of Communism. That's why the government funded "Culture Schools" began to pop up all over the United States. These schools taught the glories of capitalism and skills necessary to improving stature in life. It also taught you that women were under men, the poor were under everybody and the white man was above everybody. Yet you wouldn't notice it when you went to these schools, nobody notices it until they see these ideals stuck in the minds of their former classmates around them. The neighborhood of Garden Circle is full of alumni like this. From Damsel who's a doormat for her man to walk on, to Dodgers who wanted a light skin daughter but ended up with a child dark as night, to Apple who's uppity and hates the poor, to Gardenia and Vincent who can't stand "nappy" hair. But the 1960s are a time for change, even in this America. Maybe the people in this little neighborhood will change too.

This is a narrative I had to write for English class. It is about a Vietnam veteran going on the honor flight.

Alden Dimirskiov is the son of a highly regarded doctor who invented the E20 cell to combat EMP bombs. He hates his father and everything that he represents, including the HECH program that utilizes humans and the E20 cell to protect the government, all because his father couldn't save his mother from leukemia. However, Alden has a robotic heart after a surgery complication and so he is vulnerable to dying from an EMP blast. So, his father hires a hechie, a HECH participant, named Mathis Padrenson, to protect Alden. Mathis Padrenson is a HECH graduate who is also a personal bodyguard for Alden. Mathis knows the risks of being a hechie and will thus not allow his heart to make decisions for him. He has trained to make tactical decisions with his head. He keeps his friends to a minimum and at a distance and he will never, ever have a relationship out of fear of hurting them for his sacrifice. He will protect Alden at any cost, but he will keep his distance Soon after, however, Alden's dad mysteriously dies of abnormal causes and so Alden and Mathis must trace back Dr. Dimirskiov's history to discover his killer. The truth is more shocking than either of them could imagine. ***This is my first story, soooo expect some errors, but I'm pretty good at catching grammar stuff... This is also a boyxboy but that won't be the main focus of the story. There will be some language, but it (hopefully) won't be too excessive. I am trying to make sure that all the medical, scientific, and political parts are correct, but some liberties were taken to make the story better... So, enjoy HECH -Gray***

I gripped my knife tightly in my hands and approached. The chicken saw me and started to waddle away. I stood still waiting for the chicken to stop moving. When it finally stopped I leaped at him and stabbed him in his chest. I cooked him up to eat and in joyed the flavor... I'll be trying to post a new chapter at least twice a week.
