"When rain taps against your window like an

that even the world cries - even the sky, which holds
everything together, falls a part from time to
time."

A howl.
I quickly sit up and I look ahead. It's too dark for me to see anything. I go down the fire escape and I jump on the floor of my room. I turn on the lights and I search furiously in my drawers for a torch.
I pull out my gown and I tie it tightly around my body. I tip toe and I take small steps down the stairs so my parents and siblings won't hear me.
Jesus, it's freezing cold out here! I climb up the medium fences of our gate and I land with a thud on the side walk.
Another howl.
I turn the torch on and the wind blows my hair to my face.
I'm cold, I'm scared and I'm barefoot.
I get deep into the woods, but I can still see my house and a few others from here. There's moving from behind me and my torch thinks it would be the best time to go dead on me. Bloody useless thing!
Hot. That's how I feel right now. I don't know how it happened but I want to take of this gown. But I like the warmth, it reminds me of my mother's hugs.
I try to take it off, but someone is holding it. I jump and I let out a big, small scream. It growls at me. I turn around and it's all dark, pitch black infact.
Green.
That's all I'm able to see as I look down. It shows its teeth and I move back slowly. I keep my stare on the eyes.
Green like the valleys from beyond. They shine and twinkle like emeralds. Pure gold and beauty. They have little diamonds on them with fire, around the iris. These eyes, to me, are perfect.
