I was riding on nimbus when I met you. And when you left, my tears fell down as rain. This series of poems composed between late 2016 and early 2017. The poet experienced a relapse of feelings for an old lover but by this time, it was already too late. With no one to confide in, poetry seemed to be the only means possible. The dates and times of each poem are accurately written.

This is a poem about missing someone who used to be incredibly close, maybe a best friend or an ex lover, and how their memory still lingers in the tiniest details of your life, like steam from a cup of tea, shadows in the hallway, or the way silence feels heavier now. It's not just about sadness though... It's about haunting, about how someone can still be part of your life even when they're long gone.

These are all the certain things most people left undeciphered or unsaid. These are all the conundrums that kept most of us asphyxiated in bed. These are all the befriended monsters we allowed to live inside our heads, These are everything we tried to consume when our hungry souls demanded to be fed. The poems written here are voices of the oppressed- Screams you've never heard from the silently distressed.
