Wednesday Addams was not looking for a child. She certainly was not looking for a loud, stubborn baby girl abandoned in the wrong place at the wrong time. But when Wednesday finds the infant and no one claims her, she does the only sensible thing: keeps her.
What begins as a temporary inconvenience turns into something far more dangerous, attachment.
Unfortunately for Wednesday, the baby is relentless. She bites, screams, escapes at impossible moments, destroys carefully maintained peace, and seems personally determined to test the limits of Wednesday's patience. Worse, she is strangely unafraid of the darkness, fascinated by the macabre, and entirely too pleased with chaos.
Raising a child was never part of Wednesday's plans. Neither was loving one.
But anyone foolish enough to threaten the little girl will learn a simple lesson.
Wednesday Addams may not enjoy being a mother.
That does not mean she will fail at it.
