Welcome Back, Nate. Prologue Genevieve Stewart or Viv—as some call her, is seventeen years old and a senior in Groves High School, a public school located in Garden City, Georgia. You may classify her as a nerd because of huge spectacles covering her eyes but she doesn’t really mind. She was never bothered in school anyway; there was no queen bee or what so ever, so she was happy. But that was until he came... Yup, that was until Nate Falls came... back. Viv’s family and Nate’s family were childhood friends; they were so close that people might mistake them as relatives or something. Her mother was best friends with Nate’s mother, Nate’s mother was best friends with Nate’s father and Nate’s father was best friends with her father, so then forms a group of childhood buddies. They even live on the same neighbourhood together. They went to school together, they went on vacations together, and they do everything together, except for bathing, duh. Then there comes Nate and Viv. They started being friends when they were born because you know...close family, same neighbourhood, same... oh you get the picture. When Viv cries, Nate cries. When Nate laughs, she laughs. They protected each other. They were like chained to each other and no one can separate them. That was until they were five and Nate’s family decided to move to California. Viv’s family was crushed because of the departure of their childhood buddies. Genevieve, too, was more than crushed. With such little memories she has with her only best friend, she was broken. Then he came back...
