Leah ends up at waterloo road after the merger, but the night before she sleeps with someone, someone who ends up to be tom clarkson, her English teacher. When Leah arrives at waterloo road, she and tom are shocked to see each other again. Leah and tom soon end up having a 'just sex' relationship. She knows deep down that she could be doing it to get at max, she wants to punish him for her mum leaving. Before long Leah starts to look at tom in a different light, she knows that she is falling for tom, but with max starting to get suspicious can they hide their relationship from max or will he soon find out?

Poppy Moore is a spoiled Malibu girl. Her father sends her to an English boarding school for her outlandish behaviour. When she arrives, she meets the headmistress, Mrs Kingsley and her dorm mates. Poppy hates them at first, but then makes friends. Her enemy however, is Harriet, the head girl. Poppy wants to get expelled, so with the help of her friends, she manages to attract Freddie, Mrs Kingsley's son at the school dance. But she then realises that she wants to stay as she might has feelings for him. She also finds out her talent for lacrosse and shapes the class up for the championships. One day, she comes to her dorm after a date with Freddie, to see everyone forlorn. They read out a mean email insulting the girls. And then that night, Poppy accidentally sets fire to the freezer room and has to wake everyone up, leaving her lighter behind. After everyone is out, there is one girl still locked up in there. Poppy rescues her. Freddie gives Poppy her lighter and is angry at her. Poppy confesses and goes to the school Court for a trial. She realises her mom went to this school and was Captain of the lacrosse team. Josie finds out that the email was written by Harriet. They all rejoice and everyone has their happily ever after.
