Emily was sent to New York to live with another warlock, Magnus Bane, where she met three other Shadowhunters her own age. Then at 10 years old she was given a mission to watch over Clarissa Fairchild in the mundane world. It goes perfectly for seven years before Clary discovers her true Shadowhunter heritage. I had to write this for School but of course I related it to a fandom. So it's Will and Jem in America during the great depression looking for work together. But they just want their family.

Wessa: a Princess and the Pauper retelling So this is a Shadowhunter story and I do not own the characters and sorry they might be a bit OCC because in this story Will isn't going to be "cursed" and Tessa, Magnus and every warlock aren't immortal. They just possess magic. I might add in some quotes from the series so I don't own those either. -------------- A mini summary When Princess Sophie Collins has a royal duty to go to a neighboring Kingdom and work out a truce with the other young royals she knows she must do it. But when she gets into a fight with her secret boyfriend she must go after him instead. But how can she be in two places at once? Her solution is for Tessa Gray, a special young warlock and her handmaiden, to go fulfill her royal duty by impersonating her. Tessa indeed goes but when she meets Prince William Herondale, keeping her secret gets much harder. Despite trying to keep away, they find themselves pushed together. However, Tessa is in danger every minute she continues impersonating Princess Sophie. Will doesn't even know her real name. Some ideas I had while listening to the songs I put in each chapter/drabble. Every chapter is a different song with a different story (not really, they're based mostly on Jem dying. I don't know why I'm obsessed with him dying. It's ironic considering he's my favorite character). Anyway, they all center around the same OTP ~Heronstairs~ For foreign songs, the lyrics will be in English throughout the stories. Obviously, some lyrics will be changed to fit whatever I'm going for and find appropriate for that story. Feel free to recommend/suggest songs. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the songs used nor do I own Heronstairs.
