(AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sequel off of Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit) novella...a shorter, chapter novel. What if you could live forever? Well, for the Tucks, forever is just another dust bunny on their parlor counter. 15-year-old Beth Foster has grown up unhappily and neglected in the town of Bradbury, listening to stories of an unknown family her great grandmother knew that supposedly "lived forever". Interesting her deeply, Beth then runs away to the abandoned town of Treegap, where a once thriving town was then abandoned and became the wood again. There, she finds what she expected: the alive and well Tucks. Soon, Beth starts to consider this family, and eventually falls head over heels for their son, Jesse. But, being friends with people who don't die can be somewhat of a challenge, and when romance can't last forever, Beth will have to make the same choice Winnie Foster did: to drink or to not drink the spring water that gives the Tuck family eternal life.

The girl had long, thick, white hair pulled into two pigtails and gorgeous milky pale skin. She wore brown flats, a blue skirt, white knee socks, and a yellow sweater.
